THEATRE EXPERIENCE
Production
2018-current Hi-DeF Fringe Festival, Co-Founder and Co-Producer
implemented and executed a plan for an experimental theatre festival, created an opportunity for improv artists and solo performers to showcase their work in a supportive environment, worked with community leaders, received sponsorships from media and other community organizations, worked successfully as a member of the planning team, created and kept website updated, developed vision and mission statements in collaboration with other founders/producers, booked keynote speaker, interviewed TV and film personality as part of the programming, helped in securing volunteer staff for the event, acted as liaison with food and drink vendors, invited Hi-Desert non profit groups to participate as part of community outreach, did radio spots as part of promotion campaign
2017-current Thought Theatre Morongo Basin, Founder
curated, produced and directed a season of thought provoking theatre, auditioned actors, worked with actors with differing levels of experience, developed a season of programming that included elements of inclusion, diversity and equity, collaborated with musicians on original music score, developed vision and mission statements, took productions on the road to neighboring venues in order to bring a unique theatre experience to different Hi-Desert communities, developed a series of readings dedicated to the writer, worked with production staff on elements of stage and light design
